Aluplast uPVC Windows and Doors on the Block Australia

The Block’s aluplast was named a major sponsor, marking the first time UPVC joinery has been used on the show.

aluplast is a leading brand of uPVC windows and doors that is distributed throughout Australia and New Zealand and recently featured on the most recent series of the popular Australian TV series, The Block Australia. uPVC, or unplasticised polyvinyl chloride, is a type of plastic that is commonly used due to its durability and energy efficiency.

The Block made the decision to work with aluplast in order to satisfy the new, strict 7-star building standards for homes of this size in Australia; aluplast systems were one of the only products on the Australian market that could comply with these standards.

From November 2023, New Zealand is set to introduce similar performance specifications for joinery.

Energy Efficiency

The energy efficiency of aluplast products is one of their main advantages, as seen on The Block Australia. Due to its excellent insulation properties, uPVC helps to keep heat inside the home in the winter and outside in the summer. This can result in significant energy bill savings and a more comfortable living environment for the homeowners.

aluplast uPVC windows and doors are 100% recyclable and contain up to 80% recycled materials inside, making them a sustainable and energy-efficient option.

Durability

The durability of aluplast products is another benefit. uPVC is a tough, long-lasting material that can withstand the elements while keeping its shape and colour for years. Because it is resistant to rotting, warping, and fading, it is an excellent choice for homes in coastal or high-temperature areas.

Design Options

The aluplast brand also provides a variety of design options for windows and doors. Their products are available in a variety of styles, colours, and finishes, allowing homeowners to find the perfect look for their home. This allows The Block contestants to truly personalise their home by customising the appearance of their windows and doors.

Maintenance

aluplast is also renowned for being straightforward to maintain. In contrast to timber windows and doors, uPVC products don’t need to be painted or stained, which can ultimately save homeowners time and money.

aluplast is a great option overall for homeowners looking for strong, long-lasting, and customisable windows and doors. This item has been exposed to a large audience and grown in popularity among viewers thanks to its appearance on The Block Australia.
